Flavor Notes: Concentrated coffee flavor, with deep, earthy notes & a very heavy body
A blend of African and Brazilian coffees that, when combined, make this blend perfect for Cold Brew coffee. This coffee is bold, but well balanced, and is often served over ice, consumed by mixing with milk or just water. Cold brew coffee uses prolonged time for brewing in cold water that, unlike hot coffee brewing, extracts less of the oils, sugars and caffeine from the beans. This results in a coffee drink that is less acidic (making it popular with people who have sensitive stomachs) and it's also less bitter than hot coffee. Cold brew coffee is a dark French roast that is very coarse ground. It's easy to make, even with a couple mason jars and a filter, or with a coffee maker made specifically for cold brew.
Because of its roast & grind, these blend can also be used in coffee makers that utilize pre-heated water and require a coarser grind, such as French Presses or Vietnamese "Phins".
