This single origin coffee is grown at an elevation of 3,600 feet in the Sao Paulo state. Popular as a dark roast coffee and makes great espresso with its unique espresso flavor. Coffee was brought to Brazil in the 18th Century and for over 150 years Brazil has been the largest producer of coffee with over 10,000 square miles of coffee plants. Many Italians looking for work moved to Brazil in the early 1900's after learning there was enormous demand for workers in the coffee fields, and much was then exported back to Italy making the coffees of Brazil very popular throughout Europe over time. Also available at whole green beans (5lb bag only).
Brazilian Light Roast
A well balanced lightly roasted coffee with a velvety
finish, this Sunrise (light) Roast is a specialty coffee you won't find at the
grocery store.
Brazilian Medium Roast
Popular for those who enjoy a medium robust espresso, that still offers a rich crema, this is
a medium American roast that yields a coffee that enhances the rich coffee flavor of the bean without destroying any floral hints that they possess. Varying crops may have slight aromas of vanilla, almond, cinnamon and even strawberry. You should definitely try this roast if you are
looking for a fragrant, but neutral acidity, blend for coffee, espresso or cappuccino.
Brazilian Dark Roast
If you enjoy dark roasts, this Brazil coffee may be the best for you, for both
espresso and auto-drip coffee makers, as it is considered to have neutral, and delicate flavor overtones, that B*E*A*N*S enhances with our "blackened, not burnt" dark roast.
