Delivery & Returns Information

Most of our US buyer prefer shipping to be made using USPS priority mail, which is generally the most affordable. Because our roastery is in the Midwestern US, your purchase will generally reach as far as the East or West Coasts of the US in 2-3 days. But, you are given other shipping options when you check out.

Shipping is free if your purchase is $40 (about 4 x 12 ounce bags), or more, of coffee. Please not that, to keep prices down, shipping charges do apply to 5 or 12 pound, and other, bulk purchases. Also, because our non-coffee accessories are shipped from a different warehouse than the roastery, the free shipping option doesn't apply to those items.

Hawaii, Alaska and Outside U.S.A. Shipments:

Shipments outside the continental 48 U.S. States are shipped by U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail (HI & AK) or U.S. Postal Service Global Priority Mail (Canada and other countries outside of the United States) unless you select a different option during checkout.

Returning Coffee:

Returned coffee is not accepted as it is a perishable item, unless there was an issue such as a damaged delivery. Any express shipping where applicable is not refunded. Express shipping is Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Select and other overnight or express shipping services that may have been requested by you. Ground shipping is not refunded unless our shipping department was at fault and your order arrived damaged.

Damaged Product:

Time is of the essence. If you receive your order and notice the order is damaged you must contact us within 48 hours for an exchange. No exchanges or returns will be accepted after 48 hours.


If the item was never delivered we will verify status through the shipment tracking number. If the tracking number shows delivery we will not refund the order total or offer a replacement.

Estimated Delivery:

Depending upon the time that your order is placed, and paid for, your order will usually ship within 24 hours. Bulk purchases, or custom blends, may take an additional day to ship. Please let us know if you do not want a shipment to be left at your door without having been signed for. However, do use caution about this, as we cannot be responsible if the package is, for example, stolen from your front porch!


If your package was damaged in shipping, you must notify the shipper and place a claim with them...and notify us within 48 hours. Our coffee is a consumable and may not be returned unless you receive the wrong product, it is of poor quality, or the package was damaged in shipping.
